Ok, so I get a call last Monday morning and they tell me I have to be out in Dallas by the end of the day!!! So, I book my trip and get out to Dallas. The trip went pretty well, although I'm already getting sick of travelling and especially, sleeping in hotel rooms.
Anyway, one of my credit cards allow me to get into some of the airport lounges that the airlines have. There wasn't one in Phoenix but there is one here in Dallas. I've never been to one before so I decided to try it out. Got up super early, packed, liesurely turned the rental car back in and headed toward my terminal. Lines were long but I used my ninja travel skills to get through ticketing and security check in 20 mins. Awsome. I finally make it to one of the American Airlines Admiral's clubs. Wow. I had some morning meetings so they have these cubicles setup. Plugged my laptop in, hopped on the wireless and I was answering e-mails and taking coference calls! I gotta admit it was pretty nice.
Now that I'm done with all that, they have these sofas and nice leather seats setup with granite tables. Real ultra-modern type of stuff. I think I'm going to go head over to the Bar Lounge area and try to find something to eat. I'm sure it'll be prohibitively overpriced but what the hell, you only live once right?
