It's the thought that counts. That's what we're told is the important part about gifts. Honestly, I couldn't agree more. I know I'm hard to shop for. I'm the guy that has everything. My parents have all but given up and give me cash every year. One of the best gifts I've ever recieved however, is something very simple. It was a letter opener. It dosen't seem like a big deal but for some reason, I love the damn thing. I still use it to this day and if I can't find it, I just don't open things. God help me if I ever lose it.
BTW - here's something that I bought myself this year and I CAN'T WAIT till I get it!!!!!!!

:( so I decided to buy another one.
muhahhahahaha.... there are some things that a man that has everything forgets to buy himself... that's where people like me come in... 
anyways... didn't you use to have that phone? did you give your old one away? can't remember... my new phone is crap... the middle button fell off... ALREADY... bleh...
