Sofia threw her first temper tantrum today. I knew this day would happen, it was only a matter of time. Roads were wet today as we were expecting rain but got a lot of sprinkles instead. Anyway, we were taking a left in the outside lane. About 3/4 of the way through the turn I decided to blip the throttle. No kidding folks, I barely touched the accelerator and the backend threw out into the shoulder. All the cars around me frieked out and avoided me like the plague. Tires caught back and I straightened up and took off. Scary!
On talking to some of my co-workers (happend close to the office), some other people experienced similar skids (although not as bad as mine) at the same exact spot. I'm thinking it's a bad patch of road. After my heart stopped pounding and I dried my pants off, I couldn't help but think the skid looked cool and was a bit fun.
